Information Technology Manager - Eastern Oklahoma District Library System
Responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the deployment of automated systems projects. Directs the information and data integrity within the District, including the library’s automation system, telecommunications network, internet access, computer hardware, software development, operations and disaster recovery plan. Prefer a Master’s Degree in Library Science and experience in managing Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields with an emphasis in networking, telecommunications and library automation; or equivalent training and experience. Three years of experience with library automated systems.
Starting salary $31,000 depending on level of experience and library education. Excellent benefits.

Small Branch Coordinator - Eastern Oklahoma District Library System.
40 hrs. per week, includes some evenings and Saturdays. Officed in Muskogee, expectation of travel throughout the Library District at least 3/5ths of scheduled work time.
Qualifications: Library management experience and computer experience required. Master’s degree in library science or equivalent preferred. Three years of managerial experience. Proven experience developing programs and activities for all age groups.
Position will supervise three small libraries, planning and executing program activities, selecting and ordering materials collection for each library, hiring and working with subordinate staff to produce and promote a complete library program in each of EODLS’s three smallest communities.
Salary commiserate with experience, beginning at $31,000. Excellent benefits; including health and life insurance, holidays, vacation and sick leave.

Part-time position: Clerk, Delaware County Library – Jay, OK.
18 hours per week, includes some Saturdays and evenings.
Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent; some college preferred. Must have computer experience. Prefer library experience and ability to work with children. Previous work history with the public desired.
Primary duties will include processing new books, circulating material on the automated check-out system, shelving books, assisting patrons, and answering reference questions.
$7.74 per hour.
