Employment Opportunities in the Eastern Oklahoma District Library System

(2) Temporary Library Clerks ---- Muskogee Public Library, Muskogee, OK

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Have a combination of educational competencies and experience in computer technology. Be able to bend/stoop/lift. Library experience preferred as well as experience working with the public. Computer programming experience and post secondary experience is preferred.

Primary duties: Clerks will assist with youth summer technology camp. Provide tech support for computer operations, computer training, and desktop publishing.

$9.00 an hour. Seasonal help to work May 28, 2013 through August 1, 2013; 32 hours per week.

Part-time position: Library Clerk ---- Delaware County Library, Jay, OK

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Computer experience required, social media experience preferred. Library experience preferred as well as working with the public.

Primary duties: Includes processing new books, circulating material on the automated checkout system, shelving books and assisting patrons. The clerk will set up for programs, do weekly Story/Craft times and answer reference questions.

$9.00 an hour. 15 to 18 hours per week, includes some evenings and Saturdays.
