Community Vision

Stilwell will be a safe, drug free community.  A new courthouse and jobs with living wages for everyone are priorities.  An entertainment facility/park with art, sports, dancing and music will be an asset.  It will be good to have a community garden and have a well-maintained “green” city in which to raise families.  Stilwell will be a community where young and old will be proud to call it “home” and not mind pitching in to keep it nice, clean and beautiful.  Stilwell will be a place where all feel wanted and appreciated and a place where everyone wants and can get a great education.  Stilwell will have a good transit system, affordable housing, and a well-maintained infrastructure.  Finally, all citizens will have access to a well-rounded library.

Library Vision

The Stilwell Public Library will supply materials for residents at all reading levels for exploring topics of personal interest so they can continue to learn throughout their lives.  The library will encourage the love of reading in preschoolers.  The library will maintain a collection of print, non-print, and on-line services that support users' needs.  The Library will provide a meeting room for programs and events for all ages.
